Life in the Valdez Household Chapter 1

Life in the Valdez household has been pretty busy, through the months of living together as partners Brandon and Tony have had a lot of accomplishments, and some tragedies in their family.

It all goes back to when Tony and me adopted a child, living back at the old house we first bought was something to start out new memories with and adopting a child was something we wanted to remember. His name was Richard. It was nice to have someone around the house to chat with.

When he stayed for the first couple of days he grew very close with me and Tony and the cat. We made sure he went to school everyday, he was very nice to us the first couple of days, he watched TV, he enjoyed Tony's cooking.

We even changed his appearance to fit our gene type pool. He was very good with school, Tony helped him everyday with his school work. The both of us were great fathers, it was amazing how a gay couple could accomplish this.

But as time went by Richard was becoming less and less interested in school, and one day Richard wasn't paying attention when doing something, he died... He was burned to death when me and Tony were sleeping.

I took it the hardest, I felt it was my fault for not getting up early in the morning to cook him breakfast. As time went by me and Tony decided to move out of the house, it was probably the hardest decision we made because we left Richard's grave back at the old house, but we didn't want him haunting us, so our decision was to leave to another location to start out our new life without children.
